Production Supervisor

Responsibilities :

1. Supervise daily operations of stamping presses, injection molding machines, and final assembly lines.
2. Plan and allocate manpower, machines, and materials to meet production schedules.
3. Monitor productivity, efficiency, and machine utilization to achieve output targets.
4. Support problem-solving for defects such as burrs, short shots, warpage, flash, and assembly misfits.
5. Create and maintain product documentation, including drawings, BOM, and specifications.
6. Lead and manage line leaders and operators.
7. Provide training on production methods, machine operation, and quality awareness.
8. Ensure proper machine setup and parameter control for stamping and molding processes.
9. Coordinate with engineering and maintenance for tool/die changeovers, machine calibration, and breakdowns.
10. Enforce safety procedures & operators use proper PPE and follow lockout/tagout (LOTO) practices.
11. Submit daily and monthly reports on production output, scrap, downtime, and efficiency.

Requirement :

1. Strong understanding of tool & die, molds, and jig/fixture operation.
2. Knowledge of common production defects and troubleshooting methods (burr, flash, short shot, misalignment, etc.).
3. Good problem-solving and decision-making ability (5 Whys, Fishbone, SPC).
4. Familiar with ISO 9001 / IATF 16949 (automotive connectors/cables) quality systems.
5. Strong leadership and people management skills.
6. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
