Production Supervisor

Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Production Supervisor to lead manufacturing operations on the factory floor. In this role, you will oversee daily production activities, ensure safety standards are maintained, and drive continuous process improvements. Your leadership will be essential in managing production teams, interpreting technical documents, and maintaining high-quality manufacturing output. Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily production activities on the assembly line, ensuring timely completion of tasks.
• Manage and motivate production teams, including assigning tasks, monitoring performance, and providing coaching.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and manufacturing standards, conducting regular safety inspections and training.
• Interpret production documents, technical drawings, and process instructions to facilitate accurate assembly and manufacturing processes.
• Utilize measuring instruments and hand tools to verify product specifications and quality standards.
• Oversee the use of forklifts and power tools, ensuring proper handling and adherence to safety procedures.
• Implement process improvements by analyzing workflow inefficiencies and suggesting enhancements aligned with lean manufacturing principles.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in factory or manufacturing facility environments, with a strong understanding of production processes.
• Hands-on experience with assembly line operations, mechanical assembly, and interpreting technical drawings.
• Mechanical knowledge combined with proficiency in using measuring instruments, hand tools, power tools, and forklifts.
• Familiarity with warehouse operations, manual handling techniques, and heavy lifting safety practices.
• Demonstrated ability to manage production or assembly teams effectively while maintaining high safety standards.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and process improvement methodologies.
• Strong commitment to safety protocol adherence and continuous operational excellence.

Pay: $33.00 - $35.75 per hour
