Production Supervisor

We are looking for a responsible and hardworking Production Supervisor to manage daily factory activities, supervise workers and ensure that production targets are achieved on time while maintaining product quality and workplace discipline.

Key Responsibilities

• Daily Production: Plan and monitor daily production activities to ensure timely completion of targets.
• Worker Management: Assign duties to workers, monitor attendance and ensure proper utilisation of manpower.
• Quality Control: Check product quality at different stages of production and report any defects or issues.
• Machine Monitoring: Ensure machines are operating properly and report breakdowns or maintenance requirements.
• Raw Material Management: Monitor raw material usage, minimise wastage and inform management about stock requirements.
• Production Records: Maintain daily records of production quantity, worker attendance, material usage and wastage.
• Factory Discipline: Ensure workers follow reporting timings, safety instructions and company policies.
• Coordination: Coordinate with the stores, quality, dispatch and management teams to ensure smooth operations.
• Problem Solving: Identify production delays or operational issues and take timely corrective action.
• Daily Reporting: Submit daily production reports and communicate pending work or major issues to management.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Minimum 2–5 years of experience in factory production or manufacturing supervision.
• FMCG, agarbatti or incense manufacturing experience will be preferred.
• Ability to manage workers and allocate daily tasks effectively.
• Basic knowledge of production planning, quality checks and material management.
• Ability to maintain records and prepare simple daily reports.
• Good communication, problem-solving and leadership skills.
• Must be willing to work full-time at the Janla plant.

Working Conditions

• Work Location: Janla, Odisha
• Working Hours: As per the company's factory schedule and operational requirements.
• Salary: ₹15,000–₹18,000 per month, depending on experience and suitability.
