Production Supervisor (Assembly & Machinery Section)

Basic Salary: Up to RM5,000 + Attendance Allowance
Working Days: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Location: Ulu Tiram, Johor

Company Overview

An established and expanding manufacturing company specialising in sheet metal fabrication and precision manufacturing, supported by CNC turret punching, bending and laser cutting processes.

Due to continued business expansion, they are looking for hands-on Production Supervisors / Assistant Supervisors to lead their Assembly and Machinery Sections.

Job Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily production activities within the assigned section.
• Lead production operators to achieve daily output, quality and productivity targets.
• Ensure products are manufactured and assembled according to required specifications and quality standards.
• Plan manpower allocation and organise daily production activities to ensure smooth operations.
• Monitor production processes and resolve operational or process-related issues promptly.
• Ensure compliance with workplace safety, production procedures and quality standards.
• Train, guide and support production employees in improving their skills and performance.
• Coordinate with relevant departments to resolve production issues and maintain smooth workflow.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to improve productivity, quality and efficiency.
• Perform other production-related duties assigned by management.

Requirements

• Minimum SPM, Certificate or Diploma in a relevant field.

• At least 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment.

• Able to read and understand basic mechanical engineering drawings.

• Experience in assembly, machinery, sheet metal, CNC or related manufacturing operations is an added advantage.

• Prior team-leading or supervisory experience is preferred.

• Good leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.

• Hands-on and comfortable working closely with production teams.
