Production Supervisor (Manufacturing)

About the role

We are looking for a hands-on and responsible Production Supervisor to oversee daily manufacturing operations and lead our production team. The successful candidate will ensure production targets, product quality, workplace safety, and operational efficiency are achieved while maintaining a positive and productive work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily production activities to ensure smooth operations and timely completion of production schedules.
• Lead, train, and motivate production operators and technicians.
• Monitor production output, quality standards, and productivity targets.
• Coordinate manpower allocation to meet operational requirements.
• Ensure compliance with company SOPs, workplace safety, and quality requirements.
• Investigate production issues and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Monitor machine performance and coordinate maintenance activities to minimize downtime.
• Work closely with Production Planning, Warehouse, QC/QA, and other departments.
• Maintain accurate production records, reports, and documentation.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce wastage.

About you

• Diploma, NITEC, or equivalent qualification in Engineering, Manufacturing, Production, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in water treatment, beverage, food manufacturing, or related industries will be an advantage.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Good problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Able to work independently and under pressure.
• Familiar with workplace safety and quality management practices.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
