Production Supervisor - Night

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Sawmill Production Supervisor for night shifts at our sawmill manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will oversee daily operations on the production floor, ensure safety and quality standards are met, and lead a team of production workers. This role requires strong leadership skills, mechanical knowledge, and familiarity with sawmill manufacturing processes to maintain efficient production flow during night hours.

Requirements:

• Post-Secondary Education preferred (minimum high school diploma).
• At least 3 years of sawmill related experience.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of supervisory experience.
• Knowledge and experience with lumber manufacturing and sawmill operations.
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Proven leadership abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Desire to lead and support a talented team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good computer skills, particularly Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
• Ability to walk, stand, and / or climb up for up to 12 hours a day.
• Must have 20/20 vision with or without corrective lenses
• Must have the ability to lift up to 50+ lbs. repeatedly with and without assistance.

• Manage and identify opportunities to improve productivity, reduce cost and maximize the quality, value and recovery of lumber produced.
• Engage production and maintenance workers to achieve targets, meet expectations and address deficiencies in a productive and professional manner.
• Ensure quality standards are met throughout the manufacturing process.
• Engage and support team members to achieve excellence in all areas of the business.
