About the role

We are seeking a Production Supervisor to join our team at our Desa Cemerlang facility in Johor. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in overseeing panel wiring operations and ensuring the delivery of high-quality electrical assemblies. As a Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day operations, supervising technical teams, and maintaining our high standards of workmanship and safety. This role is integral to our production operations and offers significant opportunity to lead and develop team members whilst contributing to the strategic objectives of our Company.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all panel wiring operations, ensuring work is completed to specification, on schedule, and within budget
• Supervise and mentor panel wiring technicians and assemblers, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback
• Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards, quality control procedures, and company policies throughout all production activities
• Conduct regular inspections of completed panel assemblies to verify quality and adherence to technical drawings and specifications
• Coordinate with engineering and design teams to clarify technical requirements and resolve any production challenges
• Manage inventory of wiring materials, components, and tools, ensuring adequate stock levels and proper organisation
• Prepare production reports, track performance metrics, and identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains
• Contribute to the development and implementation of best practices in panel wiring and assembly procedures

What we're looking for

• Proven experience working in electrical panel wiring, assembly, or related manufacturing environments, with a minimum of 5 years in a supervisory or management capacity

• Strong knowledge of electrical wiring practices, electrical standards, and safety regulations applicable to panel assembly and control systems

• Demonstrated expertise in reading and interpreting electrical drawings, schematics, and technical specifications

• Excellent supervisory and leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members

• Proficiency in quality control and inspection procedures, with attention to detail and commitment to achieving low defect standards

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of liaising effectively with engineering teams, management, and production staff

• Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

• Problem-solving mindset with the ability to identify process improvements and implement solutions

• Knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices in manufacturing and electrical environments

• Preferred: Experience with lean manufacturing in the electrical industry
