What they need
- Production Planning & Coordination
- Translate production plan into daily/weekly schedules for each line.
- Balance production across mixing, baking, cooling, and packing departments.
- Ensure on-time delivery of customer orders while optimizing plant capacity.
- Coordinate with QA, Maintenance, and Warehouse for smooth operations.
- Operations Management
- Oversee daily production activities and line performance.
- Ensure achievement of production targets (output, yield, efficiency, OEE).
- Monitor and control wastage, downtime, and rework.
- Approve start-up and changeover of production lines.
- People Management
- Lead, coach, and supervise Production Officers/Supervisors, line leaders, and operators.
- Prepare manpower planning for shifts and rotations.
- Conduct performance evaluations, identify training needs, and enforce discipline.
- Motivate teams to achieve KPIs and maintain positive workplace culture.
- Quality & Food Safety Compliance
- Ensure all production activities comply with GMP, HACCP, FSSC 22000, MeSTI, and HALAL standards.
- Monitor process controls (dough mixing, baking time/temp, moisture, weight).
- Work with QA to address customer complaints, non-conformances, and corrective actions.
- Implement and enforce SOPs and hygiene standards across production lines.
- Continuous Improvement
- Drive process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
- Analyze production data for trends (downtime, wastage, labor utilization).
- Lead Kaizen/Lean/5S initiatives in production areas.
- Participate in new product trials and process validation.
- Maintenance & Safety Liaison
- Coordinate with Engineering/Maintenance for preventive maintenance scheduling.
- Ensure machines are running safely and efficiently.
- Enforce workplace safety standards, conduct safety briefings, and investigate incidents.
- Reporting & Administration
- Review and approve daily production reports, shift reports, and KPI dashboards.
- Report deviations, challenges, and solutions to Production/Factory Manager.
- Assist in budgeting and cost control (labor hours, energy, raw material usage).
