Production Supervisor(Juice Production)

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Juice Production Supervisor to oversee daily juice production activities, supervise production staff, maintain product quality, and ensure production targets are achieved efficiently. The ideal candidate should have practical experience in beverage or food production, strong leadership skills, and a good understanding of food safety and hygiene standards.

Job Description

• Supervise daily juice production activities from raw material preparation to finished product packaging.
• Coordinate and assign tasks to production workers to ensure smooth workflow.
• Monitor the preparation, processing, blending, filling, sealing, and packaging of juice products.
• Ensure production targets and schedules are achieved within the required timeframe.
• Inspect raw materials such as fruits, concentrates, water, sugar, and other ingredients for quality and suitability.
• Ensure ingredients are accurately measured and prepared according to approved formulations and recipes.
• Monitor production processes to ensure consistency in taste, colour, texture, and product quality.
• Ensure proper cleaning and sanitation of production areas, equipment, utensils, and storage facilities.
• Enforce strict food safety, hygiene, and quality-control procedures.
• Monitor production equipment and report faults or maintenance requirements promptly.
• Minimize product waste, spillage, downtime, and unnecessary production costs.
• Maintain accurate records of production quantities, raw material usage, wastage, downtime, and finished products.
• Coordinate with the quality control, warehouse, maintenance, and procurement teams.
• Monitor packaging materials and ensure finished products are properly labelled, sealed, and stored.
• Train, supervise, and motivate production staff on proper production procedures and safety practices.
• Ensure employees use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Identify production challenges and implement corrective actions where necessary.
• Prepare daily and periodic production reports for management.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable food production and safety standards.

Requirements/Skills

• Bachelor’s degree, HND, or OND in Food Science, Food Technology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Production Management, or a related field.
• Proven years of relevant experience in juice, beverage, food, or FMCG production.
• Previous supervisory experience in a production environment is preferred.
• Good knowledge of juice and beverage production processes.
• Strong understanding of food safety, hygiene, sanitation, and quality-control procedures.
• Knowledge of HACCP and relevant food safety standards is an advantage.
• Ability to operate and monitor food or beverage production equipment.
• Strong leadership and team-management skills.
• Good problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality.
• Good record-keeping and reporting skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet production targets.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work flexible shifts when required.

Pay: ₦100,000.00 per month
