Production Supervisor/Manager

The Production Supervisor leads the day-to-day operations of The Lab Worldwide’s production floor. This is a hands-on leadership position responsible for keeping work organized, employees supported, customer commitments on track, and quality standards consistently met.

The right person is a strong leader who takes ownership, communicates early, follows through, and is willing to step in wherever needed to help the team succeed.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, train, schedule, and support production employees.
• Set daily priorities and assign work based on customer due dates, workload, and business needs.
• Keep active customer jobs moving efficiently from receipt through completion and shipment.
• Monitor work in progress and address delays, missing information, or problems before they affect the customer.
• Ensure employees follow company procedures, quality standards, safety requirements, and workplace rules.
• Review work for accuracy, completeness, and proper documentation before it moves to the next step.
• Make sure customer materials are clearly identified, handled carefully, protected, and accounted for throughout the process.
• Ensure completed jobs, reports, and shipments are fully ready before anything is released to the customer.
• Work closely with Engineering, Quality, Sales, Shipping, and Management to provide clear updates on job status, capacity, concerns, and expected completion dates.
• Escalate quality concerns, equipment issues, material discrepancies, and customer-impacting delays immediately.
• Monitor employee attendance, timekeeping, productivity, conduct, and compliance with schedules and company policies.
• Provide coaching, training, and direct feedback to employees; address performance concerns promptly and professionally.
• Help build a respectful, accountable, team-oriented production culture.
• Participate directly in production work when needed to support the team and meet customer commitments.
• Identify workflow bottlenecks, recurring errors, and training needs, then recommend practical improvements.
• Maintain a clean, organized, safe, and professional work environment.

Schedule & Flexibility

The regular schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. As a growing, customer-driven company, additional hours may be needed to support priority work, deadlines, training, or urgent business needs.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
