Production Support / Application Support mphasis

Role & Responsibilities

• Provide L2 Production / Application Support for business-critical applications.
• Monitor applications using Splunk and batch monitoring tools to ensure system availability.
• Perform incident management, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis within SLA.
• Handle Linux server operations, including log analysis and basic admin activities.
• Support release, deployment, and post-deployment validation activities.
• Coordinate with development, QA, and infrastructure teams for issue resolution.
• Perform proactive monitoring and preventive maintenance to avoid production issues.
• Prepare incident reports, RCA documents, and support documentation.
• Work in shift-based / production support environment as required.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• 3 5 years of hands-on experience in Production / Application Support (L2).
• Strong working knowledge of Linux (commands, logs, process monitoring).
• Hands-on experience with Splunk for monitoring, alerting, and log analysis.
• Experience in batch job monitoring and resolving batch failures.
• Exposure to release and deployment support activities.
• Experience working in 247 or shift-based production environments.
• Good understanding of ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, Change Management).
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
• Ability to join immediately and attend F2F drive.
