Production Support Engineer | Azure & SQL

Location: LATAM | Remote

We are looking for a Production Support Engineer to support a mission-critical tax compliance platform used by financial services professionals worldwide.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, SQL, and enterprise application support , combined with strong troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Investigate and resolve production incidents and application issues.
• Use Azure Portal, application logs, and monitoring tools to troubleshoot cloud-hosted applications.
• Execute SQL queries for data validation and production issue investigation.
• Manage incidents through Jira Service Management (JSM) or similar ITSM tools.
• Communicate directly with end users, providing clear updates and technical guidance.
• Perform root cause analysis and collaborate with development teams on complex issues.
• Improve support processes through documentation, AI tools, and automation.

Mandatory Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Production Support or Application Support.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure and cloud-based application troubleshooting.
• Solid SQL knowledge for queries, data validation, and troubleshooting.
• Experience with application logs, monitoring, and incident management.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
• Strong customer service, ownership, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to prioritize incidents and work with global teams.
• Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, or Application Insights.

Nice to Have

• Exposure to .NET applications, Python, GitHub Actions, or AI-assisted automation.
• Experience supporting financial services or business-critical applications.
• Availability for on-call rotations and occasional weekend coverage.
