Production Team Leader

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Production Team Leader to oversee our Cylinder Making Department. The successful candidate will lead a team of operators and technicians, ensure production targets are achieved, maintain quality and safety standards, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise, and motivate production operators and technicians.
• Allocate tasks and monitor team performance to ensure production goals are met.
• Plan and oversee the execution of production schedules aligned with company targets.
• Monitor production processes and adjust workflows to meet output and quality requirements.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and operational standards.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement, cost reduction, and productivity enhancement.
• Coordinate with other departments to resolve production issues and improve operational efficiency.
• Prepare production reports and provide updates on performance metrics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.

• At least 1 year of experience in a production or manufacturing environment.

• Experience in cylinder production, printing, packaging, engraving, or related manufacturing operations is an advantage.

• Strong leadership and people management skills.

• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

• Good communication and coordination skills.

• Willing to work on shifting schedules when required.
