Production Team Leader

Description

At Carma, we’re more than just a car company, we’re on a mission to shake up the Australian automotive industry! As a digital pre-owned car dealership, we’re turning the car buying experience into a hassle-free, seamless journey that customers can truly enjoy. With our diverse and collaborative team managing everything from engineering to marketing and buying to reconditioning in-house, we’re powered by the best people and we’d love for you to come along for the ride.

We’re on the hunt for a Production Team Leader to steer the team and keep things running at top gear! You’ll be the go-to expert, making sure quality stays high, targets are smashed, and the team keeps growing through great training and support. Working side by side with other production leads and the department manager, you’ll play a key role in driving efficiency and keeping our operations on track.

What you'll be doing?

• Be the go-to expert for your production stage, ensuring quality and efficiency
• Keep targets on track and sign off on all completed work
• Lead, coach, and motivate the team to deliver their best
• Drive continuous improvement by refining processes and training
• Champion safety, lean principles, and a positive team culture

Okay, let’s talk about you:

• You have at least 1 year experience leading/ supervising a team (experience within the automotive industry would be an advantage, but not compulsory).
• You are tech savvy and quick to learn new systems.
• You have excellent communication and problem solving skills.
• You thrive in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
• You hold a current NSW driver's Licence.

In this role you’ll be based in our St Peters workshop with plenty of room for parking and train/ bus stops nearby.

What's in it for you?

• We wouldn’t be a car business if we didn’t give you some $$ off our Carma cars, parts and NRMA cover.
• Join our high-performing, forward-thinking team and help shake up car buying in Australia.
• Be a part of a high performing team, where curiosity, learning and tackling fun challenges are just another day at the office.

At Carma, we’re all about fostering an amazing culture, where you can bring your best self to work! We value collaboration, innovation and having a laugh at work. Plus, we’re committed to diversity, inclusion and safe work practices, so no matter your background or experience (or car brand of choice!) we’d love to hear from you. Please let us know if you need any reasonable adjustments during the interview process. #LI-DS1
