Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts and power tools safely to move materials and components throughout the factory floor.
• Use measuring instruments and interpret technical drawings to ensure parts meet specifications.
• Assist with mechanical assembly and manual handling tasks, including heavy lifting, on the production line.
• Follow manufacturing processes and production documents accurately to maintain quality standards.
• Conduct routine inspections of equipment and work areas to uphold safety protocols and standards in production.
• Support process improvement initiatives by identifying inefficiencies and suggesting solutions.
• Manage assembly line activities, ensuring smooth workflow and timely completion of tasks while adhering to safety standards.

Experience

• Prior factory or manufacturing facility experience is highly preferred.
• Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, and mechanical assembly is essential.
• Familiarity with forklift operation, safety protocol adherence, and heavy lifting techniques.
• Knowledge of manufacturing management practices, lean manufacturing principles, and process improvement methods.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and use measuring instruments accurately.
• Strong understanding of safety standards in production environments and compliance requirements.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively on assembly lines or managing production teams in a fast-paced setting.

Pay: $14.00 - $18.00 per hour
