Production Team Member

Description:

The Production Team Member position will execute production and manufacturing tasks within the organization. This position requires a low to average degree of manual labor including auto-spraying, auto-folding, inspecting and trimming.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Operate assisted machinery or utilize tools to assemble products or components towards a daily production goal.
• Work with a team or individually, performing repetitive motions for up to 12 hours.
• Conduct visual inspections on products and parts as they are being assembled to identify defects.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area by practicing 3C5S daily.
• Rotate positions as needed, based on need.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Ability to stand for extended periods of time with twisting, bending, stooping, reaching and walking.
• Ability to adapt and thrive in a fast paced environment.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, time management, organizational skills, and ability to multi-task.
• Good written and communication skills.
• Must be able to wear various types of Personnel Protective Equipment (PPE) and adhere to safety standards.
• Ability to work rotating shifts including weekends, holidays, and plant shut downs.
• Must be able to wear various types of Personnel Protective Equipment (PPE) and adhere to safety standards.
• Team Member must be able to lift 20 pounds without assistance
• Willingness to work with a diverse group and adapt to cultural differences.

Education/Training/Experience:

• High School Diploma or GED Certificate
• Manufacturing experience preferred, but not required
• Automotive experience preferred, but not required
