Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Production Technician to join our manufacturing team. Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain manufacturing equipment, including power tools and measuring instruments, ensuring optimal performance.
• Interpret technical drawings, production documents, and assembly instructions to accurately execute tasks.
• Conduct mechanical assembly and use hand tools to assemble components according to specifications.
• Manage manual handling and heavy lifting safely, following all safety standards in production areas.
• Utilize forklift and other material handling equipment to move raw materials and finished products within the facility.
• Support process improvement initiatives by identifying inefficiencies and suggesting solutions aligned with lean manufacturing principles.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace that complies with safety standards and manufacturing protocols.

Requirements

• Proven factory or manufacturing facility experience with a solid understanding of production processes.
• Hands-on experience with assembly line operations, mechanical assembly, and interpreting technical drawings.
• Proficiency in using measuring instruments, power tools, hand tools, and other manufacturing equipment.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling tasks safely and efficiently.
• Knowledge of safety standards in production environments, including safety protocol adherence and risk mitigation.
• Strong mechanical knowledge complemented by experience managing or supporting production or assembly teams.
• Familiarity with process improvement techniques such as lean manufacturing practices.

Pay: From $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
