About the role

Operate the polishing machine effectively and ensure optimal utilization of machines at all times.

Key responsibilities

• Operate the polishing machine effectively
• Record daily output data and submit reports to the designated leader
• Attend daily morning briefings and provide feedback on production issues
• Communicate with team members regarding production-related matters during handover periods
• Conduct warm-up activities for machines, as applicable
• Report any non-conforming parts, technical issues, or machine malfunctions during processing
• Inform the leader about any scrap or technical challenges faced during operations
• Ensure optimal utilization of machines at all times

About you

• Minimum education requirement of 'O' Levels, Higher Nitec, or Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or Electronics), or equivalent
• At least 3 years of experience in a production environment
• Competence in machine setup and troubleshooting
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
• Willingness to perform shift work as required
