Production Technician

Key Responsibilities :

• Operate and monitor various unit operations including reactors, wash columns, dryers separators, reboiler, chiller and steam separators
• Perform the transesterification process to convert feedstocks into biodiesel and glycerol
• Adjust process variables (temperature, pressure, flow rates) to optimize yield, quality and efficiency
• Identify and report equipment malfunctions, process upsets and potential hazards
• SCADA operation, in process quality testing and accurately fill field log sheet, SCADA log sheets and utility log sheet
• Raw material and product sampling
• Maintain a clean, organized and safe work environment

Requirements :

• Minimum Diploma in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, Industrial Technology or equivalent
• At least 2 years of experience in a process manufacturing environment (chemical, petrochemical, biofuels or similar)
• Basic understanding of chemical processes and the ability to follow complex SOPs
• Ability to work in shift schedule and perform overtime
