Production Technician

Key Responsibilities

• Perform assembly, wiring, soldering, and testing of electronic and electrical products.
• Carry out PCB soldering, including components, connectors, terminals, and wires.
• Assemble control panels, sensing modules, cables, and other electronic/electrical products according to drawings and work instructions.
• Perform cable preparation, including cutting, stripping, crimping, soldering, and connector assembly.
• Read and understand basic electrical/electronic schematic and wiring diagrams.
• Conduct functional testing and basic troubleshooting of assembled products.
• Use basic test equipment such as multimeters, power supplies, and continuity testers.
• Identify workmanship or component issues and carry out basic rectification.
• Support preparation, packing, labelling, and delivery of completed products when required.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean and safe production work area.
• Support engineers in prototype assembly, product improvement, and R&D testing when required.

Requirements

• NITEC / Higher NITEC / Technical Diploma or equivalent in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related technical field.
• Good hands-on soldering skills are essential.
• Experience in electronic assembly, electrical wiring, PCB assembly, or control panel assembly is preferred.
• Able to use basic hand tools and electrical/electronic test equipment.
• Basic understanding of electronic components and electrical wiring.
• Able to follow drawings, instructions, and quality procedures carefully.
• Good attention to detail and workmanship.
• Able to work independently as well as part of a technical team.
• Willing to learn new products and production processes.
