As part of SeAH Group’s $150M U.S. greenfield investment, we’re shaping the future of advanced manufacturing and establishing strong partnerships with industry leaders, suppliers, and communities.

About The Role

  • The Production Technician operates and monitors highly automated equipment ranging from Vacuum Induction Melt (VIM) furnaces to automated finishing cells to manufacture high‑quality metal powders and ingots. This role follows standard operating procedures (SOPs), safety and quality systems, and works cross‑functionally to meet daily production targets, yields, and on‑time delivery commitments to our customers.

What You'll Do

  • Follow all safety rules, wear required PPE, maintain a clean work area, and identify safety improvement opportunities.
  • Operate equipment following written procedures and supervisory instructions per aerospace quality standards.
  • Work as part of a team, communicate during shift handoffs, and participate in training and continuous improvement efforts.
  • Monitor process indicators and escalate identified abnormalities to organizational leadership.
  • Collect samples, perform housekeeping, and complete equipment cleaning and setup.
  • Support melting operations by preparing raw materials, staging tools, and assisting during setup and shutdown.
  • Help with mold preparation, post‑run cleanup, and basic inspections under supervision.
  • Operate finishing equipment such as sieves, blenders, abrasive saws, and grinders.
  • Handle, label, and package materials according to work instructions and quality requirements.
  • Perform basic visual inspections and assist with quality sampling.
  • Accurately complete production records, checklists, and electronic entries.

Qualifications Required

  • A safety focused mindset and the ability to work in PPE (hard hat, safety glasses, safety shoes, gloves, respirators, and heat-resistant gear as required)
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to read/interpret SOPs, product recipes, and production reports.
  • Basic computer skills for MES/ERP entries; comfortable with barcode scanners and electronic logs.
  • Strong attention to detail, and ability to work in PPE (respirators, heat‑resistant gear).
  • Willingness to work rotating shifts, weekends, and occasional overtime.

Preferred

  • 2+ years' experience in metal manufacturing or related industrial environment.
  • Experience with induction melting and post processing equipment.
  • Familiarity with particle size analysis, sieving/classification, and powder handling best practices.
