Position Overview

The Cannabis Production Technician supports daily production and post‑harvest operations including trimming, grinding, weighing, filling, sealing, labeling, and assembling finished goods. This role is ideal for someone who is detail‑oriented, reliable, and comfortable working in a fast‑paced, regulated environment.

This is a part‑time position (3 days per week) with the potential to expand to 5 days per week based on performance, reliability, and production needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform daily production tasks including trimming, bucking, grinding, weighing, and product assembly
• Operate packaging equipment for pre-rolls, flower, and manufactured products
• Label and seal products according to batch-specific requirements
• Maintain accurate weights, counts, and documentation for compliance
• Follow all AIC Cultivators SOPs, GMPs, and Vermont cannabis regulations
• Inspect product for quality, consistency, and contamination
• Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant workspace
• Support production leads with workflow needs and daily goals

Qualifications

• Experience in cannabis production, manufacturing, food processing, or similar preferred
• Ability to follow strict procedures and maintain compliance
• Strong attention to detail and consistency
• Comfortable with repetitive tasks and fast-paced workflows
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
• Must be 21+
• Must be able to pass FBI and Vermont background checks required to obtain a CCB Employee ID Card
• Must have a reliable ride to and from work

Compensation & Schedule

• $18/hour starting pay
• Part-time: 3 days per week
• Potential for full-time (5 days/week) based on performance
• Hours: 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday
• Part-time employees work 3 of these days; full-time expansion uses the full weekly schedule
