Production Technician

Job Descriptions

a) To monitor and minimize production and material wastage, scrap and rejection

b) To measure actual production output against plan

c) To supervise all the operation processes during every shift and support teams to ensure high efficiency, good line discipline, good housekeeping and compliance to quality requirements

d) To highlight any abnormalities, effects or variances

e) To maintain and ensure all equipment, machinery are in the most efficient and safe to use condition

f) Perform data collection for process control, analysis purposes and responsible to prepare report on time

g) To communicate with QA on matters related to product quality and technical matter

h) To ensure non-conforming items are properly inspected, rework and disposed off accordingly

i) Accountable of quality, productivity, WIP and safety of work place

j) Participate in action team activities for quality and process improvement

k) Other minor or ad-hoc activity or function as and when required by superior.

Job Requirements

• At least 1-2 years of experience in the mechanical engineering, or manufacturing industry
• Must have experience / familiar with plastic injection moulding
• Possess a strong knowledge of mechanical engineering
• Able to work in shift and 6 days work
