Production Technician

We are looking for Production Technician to support safe, efficient, and consistent day-to-day production activities within the assigned Upstream or Downstream section. The role operates and monitors production equipment, follows production schedules and approved process parameters, maintains good housekeeping and GMP practices, records production information, and promptly reports abnormalities to support achievement of production, quality, safety, and delivery targets.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor production machinery and equipment in the assigned section according to production schedules, SOPs, work instructions, and superior's instructions.
• Handle, process, transfer, or pack raw materials, intermediate products, and finished products according to applicable production and quality requirements.
• Monitor process parameters and equipment conditions, and promptly report any abnormality, deviation, breakdown, or production issue to the superior.
• Complete production records, checklists, and required data accurately, and ensure proper shift handover on production status and outstanding issues.
• Perform routine cleaning, housekeeping, and basic preventive maintenance checks to keep machines, tools, and production areas in good operating condition.
• Support Maintenance in troubleshooting or repair activities and support QA/QC in sampling, inspection, or other production-related quality activities when required.
• Support rework, material handling, product changeover, packing, or other operational activities as required by the assigned production section.
• Minimize downtime, product loss, waste, and unnecessary material usage through proper machine operation and timely escalation of issues.
• Comply with company quality systems, GMP, food safety, hygiene, safety, health, and environmental requirements at all times.
• Work closely with team members and relevant departments to achieve daily production targets and maintain smooth production operations.

Job Requirements

• Diploma, or equivalent qualification in a relevant technical, manufacturing, or related discipline.
• Fresh applicants may be considered; relevant experience in production or manufacturing operations would be an advantage.
• Basic understanding of production machinery, operating procedures, housekeeping, GMP, food safety, and workplace safety requirements.
• Able to perform routine equipment checks, identify abnormal conditions, and report issues promptly.
• Able to follow instructions, SOPs, and approved process parameters accurately.
• Good teamwork, discipline, responsibility, and attention to detail.
• Able to work in a production environment and support the assigned Upstream or Downstream section according to operational requirements.
