Production Technician

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Production Operator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the assembly and maintenance of our products, ensuring high-quality standards are met throughout the production process. This position requires a strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to work effectively in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Support the company in the in the assembly of mechanical / electronic products and other deliverables for its customers.
• Maintain a clean and organised workspace, ensuring all tools and materials are stored correctly.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines.
• Troubleshoot any mechanical issues that arise during the production process, escalating when necessary.
• Follow detailed assembly instructions and quality control procedures to ensure product integrity.
• Undertake other duties as required to ensure smooth running of the production process

Skills

• A can-do attitude with the willingness to go the extra mile for customers
• Proficient soldering skills
• Experienced with J-STD-001 and/or IPC-7711-21 (preferred)
• Experience with IPC-A-610 (preferred)
• Excellent IT and systems skills.
• Strong organisational skills, with the ability to work with limited direct supervision
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a positive and enthusiastic outlook
• 2+ years experience in a mechanical / electronics production environment within a fast moving, customer focused organization (preferred)

Pay: £25,420.00-£28,000.00 per year
