Production Technician

Production Technician – 2nd & 3rd Shift

Verretec Composite Materials is hiring technician trainees for our textile department on 2nd and 3rd shift. Our team turns glass yarn into precision electrical-grade fabrics, where a small mistake at the machine shows up in every yard downstream. We're looking for people who take pride in careful, accurate work and can run their area without someone looking over their shoulder.

Starting at a competitive wage plus shift differential, hands-on training, and raises as you qualify on equipment.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Set up and run textile machinery to exact specifications
• Monitor production and catch and correct defects before they move downstream
• Follow detailed setup instructions and keep accurate production records
• Work independently on your shift once trained

WHAT YOU GET

• Full paid training on the job
• Steady full-time hours, no getting sent home early
• Benefits at 90 days, 401(k) with company match, paid holidays
• A real path from trainee to experienced operator

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Strong attention to detail. You double-check your work.
• Comfortable working on your own and making sound decisions without constant supervision
• Able to follow detailed, multi-step instructions exactly
• Manufacturing or machine operating experience strongly preferred; motivated candidates without it are welcome to apply
• Able to stand for full shifts, lift up to 25 lbs
• 18 or older and available for 2nd shift (afternoon) or 3rd shift (overnight)

We're interviewing now and will work with your 2-week notice.
