Production Technician

About the role

Responsible for performing precision cleaning processes on components and parts in accordance with customer specifications, work instructions, quality standards, and safety requirements. Ensure cleaned parts meet cleanliness, contamination control, and inspection requirements before release to the next operation or customer.

Key responsibilities

• Perform precision cleaning processes according to approved work instructions and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
• Handle, clean, rinse, dry, package, and label components according to cleanliness specifications
• Operate cleaning equipment, ultrasonic cleaning systems, rinsing stations, drying ovens, and related production equipment
• Conduct pre-cleaning and post-cleaning visual inspections to identify defects, contamination, or damage
• Ensure proper segregation and identification of parts throughout the cleaning process
• Follow documented procedures, process parameters, and customer requirements
• Complete production records, cleaning logs, inspection reports, and traceability documentation accurately
• Verify product conformity against cleanliness and quality standards
• Report non-conformities, equipment issues, and process deviations to the supervisor immediately
• Adhere to cleanroom protocols and gowning requirements where applicable

About you

• Certificate from vocational or Technical Institute
• Certificate or training in manufacturing operations is an advantage
• Experience in precision cleaning, semiconductor, aerospace, medical device, or high-tech manufacturing environment preferred
• Fresh candidates with relevant technical aptitude may be considered
• Follow all Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) requirements
• Wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
• Handle chemicals safely in accordance with Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and company procedures
