Production Technician

Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Processing, Filling, and Packing Line Operator (LOE) to join our factory team. The LOE will be responsible for operating and maintaining equipment on processing, filling, and packing lines to ensure efficient production/Processing and packaging of goods. This role requires precision, adherence to safety and quality standards, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor processing, filling, and packing equipment according to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Set up machines and adjust settings to ensure accurate filling, sealing, labelling, and packaging of products.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks on equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
• Conduct quality checks on products at various stages of production to ensure adherence to specifications and standards. Perform root cause analysis together with the team if there is any non-conformance quality incident.
• Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions/ breakdown and perform the equipment repairs as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas to comply with hygiene and safety regulations.
• Follow safety protocols and wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
• Document production activities, including machine settings, production quantities, and any issues encountered during the shift.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to achieve production targets and resolve operational issues promptly.
• Support / lead the implementation of Continuous Improvement activities across shift.
• Drive to achieve all set KPIs in respect of Safety, Cost, Quality, Speed and People.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or vocational training in manufacturing or dairies industry is an advantage.
• Proven experience as a machine operator or line operator in a food manufacturing or production environment.
• Familiarity with automated processing using SCADA, filling, and packing equipment (e.g., fillers, sealers, labelling machines).
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, diagrams, and instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and quality standards.
• Physical stamina and ability to lift and move heavy objects as needed.
• Team player with good communication skills and a positive attitude.
• Ability to work rotating shifts and overtime as required.
