Production Technician

JOB PURPOSE

Ensure all job changes are done timely and troubleshooting done as required to achieve required efficiency.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

· Lead a section of 5 machines.

· Ensure operators are operating the machine safely at all times.

· Ensure product being made on all machines is of highest quality with minimum scrap.

· Conduct troubleshooting related to machine operations and parameters.

· Do job change along with concerned operator within required timelines.

· Ensure no wastage of production resources during operation.

· Coordinate with production manager for material requisition for daily operation.

· Maintain machine in sound mechanical and electrical condition.

· Maintain the whole section housekeeping.

· Conduct periodic deep cleaning of machines in coordination with maintenance team.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

Sound knowledge of paper bag machine operation is preferred. Diploma in mechanical engineering will be beneficial.
