Production Technician

Role & responsibilities

• Execute API manufacturing activities as per approved Batch Manufacturing Records (BMRs) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Handle chemical reactions, charging, distillation, filtration, drying, centrifugation and material transfer operations.
• Operate and monitor reactors, centrifuges, dryers and other production equipment.
• Maintain process parameters, yield records, batch documentation and equipment logbooks.
• Follow cGMP, EHS, safety procedures and housekeeping standards.
• Coordinate with QA, QC, Engineering and Stores departments to ensure smooth production operations.
• Report process deviations, equipment issues and safety incidents to the supervisor.

Preferred candidate profile

• Qualification: B.Sc. / M.Sc. Chemistry or Diploma / B.Tech in Chemical Engineering.
• Experience: 04 years in API manufacturing or pharmaceutical chemical production.
• Basic knowledge of chemical reactions, unit operations, GMP documentation and industrial safety.
• Ability to work in shifts and handle production activities in a manufacturing plant.
• Freshers with relevant qualifications and a willingness to learn may also apply.
