Digital Print Technician

Working Hours: 07:30 - 16:00, Monday to Friday

About the Role

We are looking for a highly motivated and adaptable person to join our company as a Digital Print Technician, working in the wallpaper team to ensure high quality digital print is delivered on time and in full.

You will complete quality control inspections on all incoming raw materials, plus timely maintenance plans, reporting any defects found to any piece of equipment. You will also pack, ship and despatch all paper orders from Fermoie. Alongside other team members you will hold responsibility for the cleanliness and good order of the digital print area and main storage areas, plus the immediate surrounding areas.

Key Responsibilities

• Working to operating procedures to produce consistent, right first-time prints.
• Quality control, problem-solving and resolving colour queries using our specialised software and equipment.
• Completing maintenance plans in a timely way and reporting any defects found.
• Ensuring that Fermoie’s cleanliness and good order standards are met within the production areas.
• Involvement in other areas of the fabric and print process as required.

As a key member of the production team, our ideal Digital Print Technician candidate will have strong team-working ability, strong communication skills and align closely with our company value of people-first in the way you interact with those around you. You will have a passion for excellence, a keen eye for detail and the ability to think on your feet and solve problems under pressure, with outstanding organisational skills.
