Production Technician (Front End)

Technician responsible for recording daily output data, setting up machines during shift changeover, and troubleshooting when problems arise. Attend daily morning briefings, communicate machine status with next shift staff, and ensure machines are warmed up before shift start. Report scrap or technical issues to leader and ensure machines are fully utilized.

Technician - SPDT

Key responsibilities

• Record daily output data and submit to leader
• Set up machines during shift changeover
• Troubleshoot when problems arise
• Attend daily morning briefing and provide update status of each item and machine
• Communicate with next shift staff on the status of each machine before handover
• Ensure own responsible machine is warmed up before start of shift
• Report any scrap or technical issues to leader during processing
• Ensure respective machines are fully utilized
• Inform leader if there is machine faulty/down which may jeopardize delivery

Technician - Spherical Small

Key responsibilities

• To operate polishing machine.
• Record daily output data and submit it to leader.
• Attend daily morning briefing and feedback issues pertaining to production matters that require attention.
• Communicate with other staff on production-related matters through verbal and communication book during handover period.
• Carry out machine warm up activity on respective machines, where its applicable.
• Report to Leader on Non-Conformance parts, technical issues or machine faulty / down during processing.
• To report any scrap or technical issues to leader when faced during processing.
• Ensure machines are fully utilized at all times.

About you

• Minimum 'O' Levels, Technical Certificate and above
• Relevant experience in a manufacturing environment
• Able to perform machine set up
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision
• Able to carry heavy items (segments or tooling)
• Must be able to do 3 rotating shift work or 12hr shift pattern when required
