Our product portfolio includes our patented DiamondAire® hockey stick blade technology, hockey sticks, protective equipment, and other performance-focused products designed to improve the experience of hockey players at every level.

THE ROLE

As TOVI continues to grow, we are looking for a dependable, hands-on Production Technician / Operator to support day-to-day manufacturing, assembly, product testing, inventory, and general production activities at our Pennsauken, New Jersey facility.

The ideal candidate is reliable, hardworking, organized, mechanically inclined, comfortable working with tools and machinery, and willing to learn. This position will work under the direction of TOVI’s engineering and production team and offers the opportunity to gain hands-on manufacturing and production experience while contributing directly to the products TOVI puts on the ice. An engineering degree is not required.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist with the fabrication, assembly, and production of TOVI hockey equipment and components.
• Set up and operate production equipment, machinery, and tools under the direction of the engineering and production team.
• Assist with product testing and basic quality-control checks.
• Record and organize production and testing information as directed.
• Maintain accurate records of raw materials, components, finished goods, and production inventory.
• Receive, organize, track, and maintain materials and supplies used in production.
• Maintain a clean, safe, efficient, and well-organized production environment.
• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly equipment cleaning, inspection, and preventative maintenance tasks.
• Help ensure machinery, tools, and production equipment remain in proper working condition.
• Follow all established safety procedures and maintain a strong culture of workplace safety.
• Provide day-to-day support to the production and engineering teams as needed.
• Assist with other manufacturing, production, inventory, and operational tasks as needed.

• Strong mechanical aptitude and an interest in working with machines, tools, equipment, and your hands.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions, including safety procedures, operating instructions, maintenance procedures, and specifications.
• Ability to work independently with low to moderate supervision after receiving proper training.
• Willingness to learn new equipment, manufacturing processes, materials, and testing procedures.
• Team-oriented attitude and willingness to help wherever needed.
• Ability to work full-time on-site in Pennsauken, NJ.

Experience in one or more of the following areas is a plus, but not required:

• Manual mills and lathes
• CNC machinery
• Drill presses and other machine-shop equipment
• Composite or carbon-fiber manufacturing
