Production Technician - Restoration

This is a Production Technician position with SERVPRO of Charles County/Oxon Hill. The main focus is hands-on fire/water damage cleanup and restoration.

What the job involves

• Performing cleanup, demolition, and other physically demanding restoration work.
• Operating and maintaining SERVPRO equipment and vehicles.
• Following safety and risk-management procedures.
• Working with the Production Manager, Crew Chief, and other technicians.
• Working in difficult environments such as attics, crawl spaces, ladders, and ceiling-height areas.
• Handling cleaning products and chemicals.
• Lifting 50+ pounds regularly, with occasional lifting up to 100 pounds with assistance.

What they require

• High school diploma or GED.
• VALID DRIVERS LISCENSE
• Basic math and computer skills.
• Good verbal communication.
• Ability to pass a background check, subject to applicable law.
• Restoration/cleaning experience is preferred but not listed as mandatory.
• AVAILABILITY TO WORK ON CALL (I.E. 4PM-8PM)
