Production Worker

Schedule: 1st Shift Training for 90 Days → Transition to 2nd Shift
2nd Shift Start Time: 4:00 PM until the scheduled work is completed

Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable, motivated, and detail-oriented Production Worker to join our 2nd Shift Insulating Glass (IG) Team.

Selected candidates must be willing and able to train on 1st Shift for approximately 90 days to learn our processes, equipment, quality standards, and safety procedures. Upon successful completion of training, employees will transition to 2nd Shift, beginning at 4:00 PM and working until the scheduled production is completed.

This position plays an important role in supporting our manufacturing operations through the safe and efficient handling of materials, tools, and measuring equipment. Employees who demonstrate strong performance, attendance, quality, safety, and teamwork may be eligible for monthly safety, attendance, quality bonus.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate hand tools, equipment, and measuring instruments while maintaining quality standards.
• Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and production requirements.
• Safely perform heavy lifting and physical tasks associated with manufacturing operations.
• Assist with the assembly, processing, handling, and packaging of products according to established procedures.
• Inspect work and materials to ensure products meet established quality standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily production goals and deadlines.
• Identify and promptly report safety concerns, equipment issues, or quality concerns to a supervisor.
• Follow established work instructions and production processes.
• Demonstrate a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and commitment to continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing or production experience preferred.
• Experience using hand tools and measuring instruments is a plus.
• Ability to lift 80 pounds throughout the shift
• Ability to safely perform heavy lifting and physically demanding work.
• Strong commitment to workplace safety and following established procedures.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential.
• Ability and willingness to train on 1st Shift for 90 days before transitioning to 2nd Shift.
• Ability to work 2nd Shift beginning at 4:00 PM until scheduled production is completed.
