Production Worker

Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Production Worker to join our farm winery team. In this role, you will be an essential part of the operation, ensuring products are packaged efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality standards. This position offers an opportunity to develop your skills in a fast-paced production environment dedicated to excellence in making world class wine and non alcoholic products.

Responsibilities

• Operate packaging machinery and equipment to prepare products for retail while maintaining efficiency and quality standards
• Follow safety and quality protocols to ensure all products meet regulatory requirements
• Conduct routine inspections of equipment and work areas to identify maintenance needs or potential hazards
• Maintain cleanliness of workstations, tools, and surrounding areas in compliance with sanitation standards
• Collaborate with team members to meet production goals while adhering to safety guidelines
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with a team
• Ability to perform repetitive or physically demanding tasks at times

Qualifications

• Prior experience in manufacturing, beverage processing, or packaging is preferred but not required; training will be provided
• Basic mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues quickly and effectively preferred but not required
• Ability to operate a forklift safely; certification is a preferred, but can also be obtained upon hire
• Understanding of sanitation practices, safety regulations in manufacturing considered an asset
• Good communication skills and ability to follow detailed instructions
• Physical stamina to stand, lift, and perform repetitive tasks throughout shifts

Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour
