Production Worker

Responsibilities

• Operate production machinery and equipment in accordance with safety protocols and manufacturing procedures
• Assist in the preparation, packaging, and labeling of food products while adhering to GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and sanitation standards
• Monitor production lines to ensure products meet quality standards in line with FDA regulations, HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point), and other regulatory requirements
• Conduct routine inspections of equipment and work areas to maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and safety compliance
• Document production activities accurately using SAP or other manufacturing management systems, including tracking batch information and quality data
• Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying process inefficiencies or safety hazards and communicating them to supervisors
• Follow all safety standards in production, including proper handling of mechanical tools and food processing materials, to prevent accidents or contamination

Skills

• Strong understanding of FDA regulations, HACCP principles, CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices), and food safety management systems
• Experience working within food processing plants or manufacturing environments with a focus on quality assurance and compliance standards
• Knowledge of food & beverage production processes, packaging techniques, and sanitation procedures
• Mechanical knowledge related to operating and troubleshooting manufacturing equipment
• Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for measurements, ingredient quantities, or quality checks
• Effective communication skills for managing production or assembly teams and collaborating with supervisors
• Familiarity with SAP or similar manufacturing management software for documentation and inventory tracking
• Commitment to maintaining safety standards in production environments through proper sanitation practices and adherence to GMP guidelines

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
