Production Worker – Evening/Night Shift (Carbon Black Processing)

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8-hour shifts. Two shifts available: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM or 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM. Overtime available.

Pay: $30–45 per hour, depending on experience

About Us

Carbon Grove is a growing carbon black production and recycling company in Baton Rouge. We process carbon black into finished product for colorant and dye manufacturers across the country. We're increasing production and looking for dependable people who want steady work and top pay.

What You'll Do

• Run and monitor production equipment during your shift
• Shovel material, including feeding product, cleaning up spills, and clearing out equipment and work areas
• Fill, weigh, label, and stage 500 lb+ bulk bags of finished product
• Move material around the plant (we train on all equipment)
• Keep the production area clean and organized and follow dust-control procedures
• Record production numbers and report equipment issues to the supervisor
• Help load outgoing trucks when needed

What We're Looking For

• Reliable attendance. Showing up on time, every shift, is the #1 requirement
• 1+ year in manufacturing, production, warehouse, or plant work
• Able to do heavy manual labor, including shoveling for long stretches
• Able to lift 50 lbs, stand for long shifts, and work in heat and cold
• Comfortable in a dusty, dirty industrial environment. Carbon black gets on everything. PPE and respirators are provided.

• $30–45/hr depending on experience, which is well above the typical rate for production work in the area
