Production/Plant Operator

About the role

Assisting the Plant operators with an opportunity to control processes of boiler, hammer mill & manufacturing machinery. Using State-of the art computer controlled machines & processes.

Key responsibilities

• Control processes of boiler, hammer mill & manufacturing machinery
• Manual measuring & weighing of ingredients with a package weight up to 25kg
• Work unsupervised as part of a team
• Working in grain dust environments
• MUST Wear provided PPE at all times
• Participate in plant repairs & improvements

About you

• Physically fit
• Safe lifting & handling techniques must be utilised
• Must be able to work in grain dust at all times
• Must be prepared to wear provided PPE at all times
• Experience working with machinery preferably in manufacturing
• Experience working with others in plant repairs & improvements
• Fork lift licence preferable but not essential initially
