Production/Process Engineer (Based in Kota Kemuning)

Job Summary:

Process Engineer acts as the central coordinator within the organization’s for reviewing manufacturing processes, manufacturing output and manufacturing improvement functions. This position contributes to the organization by ensuring that there is quality production output, minimizing reject and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Job Responsibilities:

• Reviews existing manufacturing processes and output/internal reject data to prioritize processes to improve, works with R&D Engineering to implement improved methods to improve output and minimize rejects, update work instruction in a timely manner.
• Supports production to drive output targets by resolving technical issues in a timely manner and ensuring technicians and production workers are adequately trained and skilled in the most current production method. (i.e. Best Known Method).
• Analyses bill of material (BOM) for new and existing products for accuracy and ensures that the latest BOM is updated in the system.
• Works with R&D and Headquarters’ engineering teams on Product transfer projects to ensure that the factory is operationally able to manufacture the transferred Product. (i.e. BOM is accurate, workers are trained in the production process, equipment and jigs are present and functional).
• Ensures all equipment, jigs and fixtures are operational and repaired in a timely manner to minimize downtime. Conducts preventive maintenance to reduce breakdown occurrences and maintains a maintenance log to document scheduled maintenances. Ensures that spare parts for equipment is available.
• Perform ad-hoc duties as per requested.

People Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 2–5 years experience in cleanroom, HVAC, or semiconductor environment.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 14644 cleanroom standards and contamination control.
• Familiar with HEPA/ULPA filtration, laminar airflow, and pressure control.
• Experience in semiconductor industry or module assembly is an advantage.
• Knowledge of SEMI standards.
• Ability to read engineering drawings (AutoCAD knowledge preferred).
• Willing to work at Kota Kemuning, Shah Alam.
