The Opportunity

Artemis Solutions is conducting a confidential search on behalf of a Central Kentucky healthcare organization for an experienced Labor Productivity & Special Projects Analyst .

This is a highly analytical role supporting executive leadership, Finance, Operations, Human Resources, Information Technology, and department leaders through workforce analytics, labor productivity reporting, clinical and operational data analysis, and special projects.

The analyst will help transform complex healthcare workforce, financial, and clinical data into meaningful dashboards, reports, and actionable insights that support staffing decisions, productivity improvement, operational efficiency, and strategic decision-making.

While labor productivity is an important component of the position, this role extends well beyond workforce reporting. The person in this position will also support clinical data and statistics, patient-level reporting, financial decision-support dashboards, system/data integrity initiatives, and executive-level analysis.

What You’ll Do

🔹 Develop, maintain, and enhance labor productivity, staffing, workforce management, and operational dashboards and reports

🔹 Analyze staffing patterns, labor utilization, overtime, agency usage, productivity metrics, and other workforce trends

🔹 Manage and analyze clinical data and statistics , including patient-level reporting and ad hoc analysis

🔹 Monitor organizational performance against established labor and productivity goals and identify trends, risks, and opportunities

🔹 Translate complex data into executive-level dashboards, scorecards, reports, and presentations

🔹 Provide leaders with timely, actionable information to support staffing, workforce planning, and operational decisions

🔹 Partner with Finance, Operations, Human Resources, IT, and department leadership to ensure reporting accuracy and data integrity

🔹 Support the development and refinement of productivity standards, staffing metrics, and labor-management processes

🔹 Provide education and support to leaders regarding productivity metrics, reporting tools, and labor-management principles

🔹 Perform ad hoc reporting, data analysis, and special projects for executive and financial leadership

🔹 Assist with data audits, system clean-up, dashboard development, and other operational improvement initiatives

Initial Projects May Include

📊 Productivity Dashboard: Integrating timekeeping and clinical data in partnership with IT

🏥 Clinical Statistics: Refining clinical statistic definitions and reporting within Dimensional Insight

🔎 System & Data Audits: Supporting data reconciliation and cleanup initiatives across financial and healthcare information systems

📈 Live GL Analysis Dashboard: Helping transition existing Finance reporting into a live, drillable dashboard for the CFO and financial leadership

💰 Cost Accounting: Supporting system audits, data cleanup, and analysis

🩺 Patient-Level Analytics: Expanding clinical patient-level data to incorporate cost accounting and claims/reimbursement information

What We’re Looking For

The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys working behind the scenes with data, systems, dashboards, and analytics and can turn large amounts of information into something leaders can actually use.

Healthcare experience is an important focus for this search because the work involves the intersection of clinical operations, workforce productivity, financial information, and patient-level data.

✅ Experience with healthcare analytics, workforce/labor productivity, decision support, financial analysis, or operational analytics

✅ Strong data analysis and reporting skills

✅ Experience developing and maintaining dashboards, scorecards, and executive-level reporting

✅ Ability to analyze staffing, productivity, operational, clinical, and/or financial data

✅ Experience working with multiple data sources and identifying data-integrity issues

✅ Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail

✅ Ability to identify trends, risks, and opportunities within complex datasets

✅ Ability to translate analysis into clear, actionable information for organizational leadership

✅ Strong organizational and project-management skills

✅ Ability to manage multiple priorities and special projects simultaneously

✅ Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across Finance, Operations, HR, IT, clinical departments, and leadership

Experience with Dimensional Insight, healthcare clinical data, productivity reporting, cost accounting, financial reporting systems, or similar analytics platforms would be particularly relevant to the work involved in this position.

Work Environment

This role is primarily office-based within a healthcare organization and requires regular collaboration with executive leadership, department directors and managers, physicians, Finance, Operations, Human Resources, Information Technology, and other organizational stakeholders.

Some travel between organizational locations may be required.
