Barber – The Barber Syndicate

The Barber Syndicate is looking for a professional, motivated, and dependable barber to join our growing team. We are building a shop centered around quality service, professionalism, consistency, and a strong team environment.

We are looking for barbers who take pride in their craft, want to grow their clientele, and are looking for a shop they can build with long-term.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality haircuts, fades, beard trims, lineups, and other barbering services.
• Deliver excellent customer service and create a welcoming experience for every client.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional workstation.
• Keep appointments running on time and manage your schedule responsibly.
• Be available for scheduled clients and help accommodate walk-ins when available.
• Communicate with the other barbers regarding schedules and time off to help ensure the shop has proper coverage.
• Maintain a professional environment, especially when children and families are present.
• Help maintain the overall cleanliness and appearance of the shop.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
• Help promote yourself and The Barber Syndicate through referrals, social media, and excellent service.

Qualifications

• Valid Illinois barber or cosmetology license.
• Strong barbering and grooming skills.
• Reliable, punctual, and professional.
• Strong communication and customer-service skills.
• Ability to work independently while also contributing to a team environment.
• Willingness to continue improving and growing professionally.
• Existing clientele is a plus, but not required.

Compensation

Commission-based compensation with opportunities to increase commission based on consistent monthly service volume and performance.

Our current commission structure provides opportunities to earn 70%, 75%, or 80% commission as your clientele and monthly haircut volume grow.
