Professional Engineer

Job Overview
We are seeking an outsourced skilled and detail-oriented Civil or Structural Engineer LICENSED PE to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering principles and practices, with proficiency in various design software. This role involves collaborating with architects and other engineers to develop innovative structural solutions for a variety of projects, ensuring safety, functionality, and compliance with relevant codes and standards.

Duties

• Design and analyze structural systems for buildings and infrastructure projects using advanced engineering software.
• Prepare detailed drawings and specifications utilizing AutoCAD, Revit, MicroStation, and Bluebeam.
• Conduct project engineering tasks including project scheduling and resource allocation.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure cohesive project execution from conception through completion.
• Perform calculations using Mathcad to support design decisions and validate structural integrity.
• Review construction documents for accuracy and compliance with engineering standards.
• Participate in site visits to monitor construction progress and address any structural issues that arise.
• Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and interns as needed.

Requirements

• Professional Engineer (PE) license is required. Multiple States Required
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an accredited institution.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, MicroStation, Bluebeam, and other relevant CAD software.
• Strong understanding of project engineering principles and project scheduling techniques.
• Excellent mathematical skills with experience in using Mathcad for structural analysis.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also being self-motivated.
• Strong analytical thinking skills with attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.

Pay: $8.00 - $80.00 per hour

License/Certification:

• Professional Engineer (Required)
