Professional Engineer - Adventure Structures

Pay: $35.00 - $50.00 per hour

Part-Time/Project Based | Hybrid | Pay is Negotiable | Challenge Works

Challenge Works designs and builds aerial adventure structures such as ropes courses, zip lines, climbing towers, canopy tours, and adventure parks, across California and beyond. As an ACCT Accredited Vendor Member, we are not just growing, we are thriving and we set everything we do to a higher bar. We're looking for a licensed PE to help us make sure everything we build is sound, code-compliant, and built to last.

What You'll Do

• Review and stamp designs
• Collaborate with our design team to support structure concepts when needed
• Provide engineering calculations on load paths, anchor systems, tree and pole-mounted structures, and cable/tension systems
• Communicate clearly with our Designer on engineering intent and constraints

You're a Strong Candidate If You:

• Hold an active PE license
• Can review and stamp drawings independently with confidence
• Communicate well with both engineers and field crews

Bonus Points For:

• Direct experience with challenge courses, zip lines, ropes courses, canopy tours, or aerial adventure structures
• Familiarity with ACCT and ASTM standards
