Professional Mover/Driver

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Mover/Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with the transportation and delivery of goods while providing exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will have experience in driving box trucks and performing heavy lifting, as well as a strong commitment to safety and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate box trucks for local and long-distance moves
• Load and unload items from the vehicle, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage
• Provide excellent customer service while interacting with clients during pickups and deliveries
• Navigate assigned routes efficiently while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations
• Assist in packing, wrapping, and securing items for transport
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the vehicle and equipment
• Utilize manual transmission vehicles when required
• Operate forklifts and pallet jacks as needed for loading and unloading tasks
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of moving projects

Requirements

• Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor
• Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) consistently throughout the workday
• Familiarity with route driving and logistics management
• Valid driver's license
• Experience using forklifts and pallet jacks is advantageous
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
