Professional Services Engineer – Cloud, Infrastructure & Cybersecurity

Progression opportunity to Technical Lead / Head of Professional Services

A growing Irish Managed Services Provider is looking for an experienced Professional Services Engineer to join its Dublin-based team.

This is an opportunity for either a strong Level 2 engineer ready to step further into Professional Services or an established Level 3/PS Engineer looking for more technical ownership, customer engagement and career progression.

You'll work across a varied SME customer base, designing and delivering projects across Azure, Microsoft 365, infrastructure, networking, cybersecurity and BCDR.

The Role

You'll be involved in:

• Server and infrastructure migrations to Azure and Microsoft 365
• Entra ID, Intune and M365 security
• Windows Server, Active Directory and hybrid infrastructure
• Firewalls, switching, wireless, VLANs and VPNs
• BCDR, backup and resilience solutions
• Practical cybersecurity and vulnerability assessments
• Working with MDR, SIEM and SOC providers
• Developing practical cybersecurity policies for SME customers
• Technical discovery, solution design and pre-sales
• Customer meetings, project scoping and technical documentation

What We're Looking For

You'll ideally have:

• Strong L2, L3 or Professional Services engineering experience
• Good Microsoft 365, Entra ID and Intune knowledge
• Azure experience, ideally including migration or implementation projects
• Strong Windows Server and Active Directory skills
• Good networking and infrastructure knowledge
• Practical understanding of cybersecurity, vulnerability management and BCDR
• Strong troubleshooting and project delivery skills
• The confidence to work directly with customers and explain technical solutions clearly

MSP experience would be particularly valuable, as would relevant Microsoft, Azure, networking or cybersecurity certifications.

You don't need to tick every box. We're interested in engineers with a strong technical foundation, customer-facing ability and the ambition to develop further.
