Professional tile mason

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Tile Mason to join our construction and fit-out team. The candidate will be responsible for the installation, repair, and finishing of various types of wall and floor tiles in residential, commercial, and hospitality projects, ensuring high-quality workmanship and compliance with project specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Read and understand drawings, layouts, measurements, and tile installation requirements.
• Prepare surfaces before tiling, including cleaning, leveling, waterproofing preparation, and surface correction.
• Measure and mark areas accurately to ensure proper tile alignment and layout.
• Cut and shape tiles using appropriate manual and power tools.
• Install ceramic, porcelain, marble, granite, mosaic, and other types of tiles on floors and walls.
• Apply tile adhesive, cement mortar, grout, and other installation materials correctly.
• Maintain consistent tile levels, spacing, alignment, and joints.
• Execute proper slopes for bathrooms, balconies, kitchens, and other wet areas.
• Install tiles around sanitary fixtures, drains, corners, columns, doors, and other difficult areas with accurate finishing.
• Carry out tile repairs, replacements, and rectification works when required.
• Ensure waterproofing and substrate preparation requirements are followed before tile installation.
• Complete grouting, silicone sealing, edge finishing, and final cleaning.
• Inspect completed work and rectify defects or uneven finishes.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
• Follow all site safety regulations and company procedures.
• Keep the work area clean and organized.
• Coordinate with other trades to avoid delays and ensure proper sequencing of works.

Pay: AED1,500.00 - AED3,000.00 per month

Experience:

• Dubai Tile masonry: 5 years (Required)

• English (Required)
• farsi (Preferred)

Work Location: In person
