Professor - Radio Imaging Technology

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Lead undergraduate and postgraduate teaching in Medical Radiology & Imaging Technology.
• Develop competency-based curriculum and teaching-learning methodologies.
• Supervise Ph.D., Master's, and undergraduate research projects.
• Publish high-quality research in indexed journals.
• Guide faculty development, academic planning, and outcome-based education.
• Coordinate accreditation and regulatory compliance (NCAHP/UGC).
• Develop collaborations with hospitals, diagnostic centres, and industry.
• Mentor faculty members and students.
• Organize FDPs, CMEs, workshops, conferences, and research activities.
• Ensure radiation safety practices and ethical clinical education.
• Participate in admissions, examinations, curriculum revision, and quality assurance.

Essential Profile:

Candidates should possess:

• Ph.D. in Medical Radiology & Imaging Technology / Medical Imaging Technology / Allied & Healthcare Sciences (Relevant Discipline).
• Master's Degree (M.Sc.) in Medical Radiology & Imaging Technology / Medical Imaging Technology
• Bachelor's degree in medical Radiology & Imaging Technology or equivalent.

Experience:

• Minimum 10 years of teaching/research/clinical experience in higher education.
• Minimum 5 years in the capacity of Associate Professor (preferred).
• Experience in curriculum development and academic administration.
• Proven research guidance experience.
• Strong publication record in indexed journals.
• Strong expertise in areas like activation techniques for radio diagnosis; artificial intelligence applications in medical imaging; biomedical engineering principles applied to radiology equipment development etc.
