Experience: Ideally 10 years or more in relevant roles, including significant responsibility for leading programmes.

Essential experience

• Public-sector experience is required. You will have led change within a public body and understand the governance and accountability that comes with it.
• Directed at least two substantial programmes, each bringing together several connected projects or workstreams.
• Established programmes from the outset, including their governance, overall plan, reporting and delivery controls.
• Led significant change across organisational structures, operations, processes, data or technology.
• Worked directly with senior executives or boards to secure decisions and maintain oversight.
• Managed teams with different areas of expertise, as well as external suppliers.
• Planned for continuity after delivery, with clear handover and transfer of knowledge.
• Can point to tangible results, such as stronger compliance, better services, improved data, greater operational capability or a more effective organisation.

Desirable qualifications and knowledge

• MSP Practitioner, PgMP, MoP, PRINCE2, PMP or a comparable qualification.
• Experience of Irish or UK public administration.
• Knowledge of pensions, financial regulation, risk-based supervision or implementing EU regulatory requirements.
• Experience in organisational design, workforce planning or assessing organisational capability.
