Program Aide

At Adult Enrichment we are looking for a compassionate, dependable, and motivated Program Aide. If you enjoy helping others, making a positive difference, and creating meaningful experiences for individuals with disabilities, this could be a great opportunity for you.

Job Overview

Provide support to individuals participating in our Adult Enrichment Program based on each individual's needs and specific support plan and may assist with a variety of services and activities throughout the day.

Duties

• Provide personal care and assisting with daily living activities such as hygiene, grooming, eating, toileting and other personal needs.
• Assist with individual's educational. recreational, and enrichment activities.
• Facilitates health maintenance activities which may include but are not limited to: transfers, ROM (Range of Motion) exercises, or other duties as outlined in the individual’s support plan.

Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 1 Year Experience working with people with disabilities, plus experience in an adult day program or adult recreational setting preferred.
• Must pass criminal background checks.
• Must complete and pass a company physical
• Lifting is required – must be able to lift 50ilbs independently and repetitively
